- Verification status — has the company submitted registration and insurance documentation for review?
- Reviews from real customers — look for detail, not just star ratings.
- What's included — does the quote cover packing materials, disassembly/reassembly, and insurance for damage?
- Communication — a mover who responds quickly and clearly before the move is a good sign for moving day itself.
- Written quotes — get pricing in writing so there are no surprises.
Comparing multiple quotes side by side is the easiest way to spot outliers, both unusually expensive and suspiciously cheap.
